Sax Quartet (SATB)
Clowns in My Coffee came to me the night after an all-nighter of finishing another piece. I was sitting in a coffee shop trying to keep awake because I did not want to reverse my sleep schedule and all of a sudden I began quasi-hallucinating that clowns were around the shop. I looked at my coffee and really thought I could see clowns in there. Naturally I wrote down the first few bars of this piece.
